East Peoria downs Little Giants

CANTON At the midway point of this ballgame Hunter Rhodes and his Little Giant basketball team found themselves down by only eight. But costly turnovers by the Little Giants and hot shooting by East Peoria in the third quarter allowed the Raiders to pull away with this game to finish up with the 57-37 victory. The Little Giants are now 0-3 on the season.
Kaden Otto started the first quarter for the Little Giants with two threes. Trace Rhodes then helped with a basket in the paint. The game was then tied at 11 after Ryan Cox hit two frees at the 2:32 mark. The Little Giants then stalled at that point and then allowed baskets by East Peoria’s Mitch Ball and Ryan LaHood for a Raiders 16-11 lead at the end of the quarter.
