divide hurting most? there is a divide within generations. overi million pensioners in poverty, if you are 16 years old, minimum wage of £4 an hour, if you re older, maybe £7 an hour work, the question we fundamentally have to ask, who is the economy for, there is enough money to not have this generational divide at all. where do you see the divide hurting most? there is a divide, but i would say, a lot of the issues that are important to young people are important to old people as well. we advocate an approach that gives care to those people that have paid in over the years, as they look back on it, and as they look back on an adulthood that has been one of relative prosperity and giving hope at the same time to a generation that for the first time in many generations is without hope. we have heard just about enough from the politicians for now(!) let s get to the audience before time ticks away from us. you are going to tell us about your experience in foster care. ....
