If the agreement is approved by the israeli parliament next week, it would see the end of the prime minister s 12year rule. Replacing him with be former defense minister turned new rival, bennet. Hi, there, i m stephanie ruhle. Live at msnbc headquarters here in new york city. It is thursday, june 3rd, and there is a lot going on. Just as the country is opening back up and things seem to be getting better, a new wave of cyberattacks is making things a whole lot worse and more expensive. Cyber criminals are now targeting everything from food to ferries. You already know about the attack on jbs, the world s biggest meat supplier, just now getting back up and running, but they re not alone. A new ransomware attack on a ferry service off the coast of massachusetts is impacting its service as we speak. We just learned new york s mta was hit by chinese hackers back in april. And the health care system out in san diego said it may have lost thousands of patients information in an attack that took place last month. And even schools have been hit. Like the district outside tacoma, washington, still dealing with an attack that started over a week ago. Just this morning nbc obtained a ne

There s a lot more than there was a few years ago. But the most important is on the other side of that. The new york knicks season ended last night. Good morning. I m hallie jackson with you. Stick with us. It s a big hour in the global fight to get people vaccinated. Right now, we have our eyes on the white house. Any second now, the administration s covid19 response team will hold a briefing. The white house is expected to lay out its global vaccination distribution plan. We are hoping to learn how many doses, which countries would be prioritized and more. We will go to that live as soon as it starts. While people around the world who want the vaccine can t get one, the white house is in an allout blitz to convince people here in the u. S. Who can get the vaccine to actually do it. This morning our nation s top doctors are pushing to meet president biden s big goal, getting 70% of americans at least one vaccine dose by independence day. We don t want to say, we don t need to get vaccinated. You need to vaccinate as many people as you can if you really want to crush this. We have pockets in this country that have lower rates of va

Now on bbc news, it s hardtalk with stephen sackur welcome to hardtalk, i m stephen sackur. Here we are again, reporting an escalating conflict between israel and the islamic militant groups who run the gaza strip. In some ways, it looks like a rerun of the summer war of 2014, which left more than 2,000 palestinians dead, along with 67 israeli soldiers and six israeli civilians. But there are differences this time, not least because communal violence has spilled into towns inside israel, prompting fears of civil war. My guest is israel s ambassador in the uk, and former minister, tzipi hotovely. Can the spiral of violence be stopped? ambassador tzipi hotovely, welcome to hardtalk. Hi, it s great to be here. What is israel s strategic objective right now? is it to restore quiet on that southern front with the gaza strip or does it go much deeper? is it to destroy the military capability of the islamic militant groups? well, the first thing is definitely true. We want to restore quiet. J
