Danish-Moroccan entrepreneur Said El Mekki has always wanted to set up shop in Dubai. “It’s like Wall Street,” he says. “This is where you need to be if you want to be a part of the future.”
However, he didn’t think opening up a crypto-trading consultancy in the emirate would be easy. Prejudiced by the complicated process of setting up a business in Barcelona in the early noughties, he was expecting a time-consuming procedure in Dubai too.
