According to information from Lincoln County Unite for Youth, fentanyl poisoning is the No. 1 cause of death in people ages 18 to 35 in the county. There have been two confirmed fentanyl poisoning deaths in the county since November 2022.
Isaac O'Rourke, a 2021 Libby High School graduate and current student at Montana State University in Bozeman, attributes much of his success to hands-on classes he took in high school.
Thankful for early learning from both high school classes and a childhood on a ranch, Isaac O'Rourke will spend the next school year working for the Borealis program funded by NASA.
