about these talks? reporter: fred, this is such a critical moment for democrats as they work throughout the weekend to try to broker a deal, reach an agreement that so far has been allusive to them. now, there is still this continued stalemate among house democrats. you have the moderates who want speaker of the house nancy pelosi to hold firm and hold that vote on the bipartisan infrastructure bill on monday and then you have progressives in the house, they are pushing back about that. they want to tank the infrastructure bill, they have threatened to vote against it in mass until they can first get an agreement on their broader economic bill, that social spending bill $3.5 trillion bill and there so far has been no agreement from the senate over the contours of those that bill. now, speaker throwsy says it is her intention next week to pass both of those bills but bills, but at this moment the path forward is very, very unclear. today up here on capitol hill we will s
