Family friendly Halloween events abound over the next several days. Carnivals, parties, trick-or-treating events, costume parades and more are scheduled in Humboldt County.
Live music will be offered as follows: at 2 p.m., The Funicators, celebrating their first CD release; at 4 p.m., The Blueberry Hill Boogie Band; and at 6 p.m., Irie Rockerz. North Coast Shellfish will be serving locally sourced oysters and Trinidad Bay Eatery will showcase sustainably sourced offerings. There will also be activities for children.
Heads up, North Coast music fans. The Humboldt Botanical Garden had to change the date of its Summer Music Series concert this weekend from Sunday, Sept. 3.
The Area 1 Agency on Aging will hold an “iPad Essentials” class Mondays and Wednesdays from Sept. 18 to Oct. 18 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. via Zoom.
