Fresh off his victory in the $137,775 Dexter Cup just nine days ago, Khaosan Road came right back and captured Monday afternoon’s $100,000 Bunker Hill Trot in track record time at Plainridge Park on Monday.
The second Grand Circuit event at Plainridge Park this year is the $100,000 Bunker Hill Trot for three-year-olds in 2023 and it will be held on Monday, May 15. Inter Mischief is the early choice in the race and he is no stranger to racing in the Commonwealth.
Canadian-bred Khaosan Road went to the front from post one at the start of Saturday’s $137,775 Dexter Cup and never relinquished the lead on his way to a one-length win over favorite Espresso in 1:57.4 at Freehold Raceway
