Timtos 2023 points way for machine tools' journey to Net Zero

Taipei, Feb. 1 (CNA) The physical 2021 Taipei International Machine Tool Show (TIMTOS), which was scheduled to open in March, will be postponed to an as-yet undecided date due to a surge in domestic cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) said Monday. However, the show will still take place March 15-April 15, albeit in a virtual format, the department said.

Speaking at a news conference, Alex Ko (柯拔希) said he has faith in the nation s ability to fight the pandemic, despite a spike in domestic confirmed cases related to a cluster of infections at a hospital in Taoyuan, northern Taiwan.
