LOS ANGELES The Adult Performance Artists Guild (APAG) announces that it has received its federal filing number from the U.S. Department of Labor and been officially confirmed as a union.
Originally known as the Adult Performers Actors Guild and instituted as a chapter of the International Entertainment Adult Union (IEAU), APAG severed its relationship with said parent union in 2020 and re-organized under its current name.
Receiving filing status as a union unto itself offers APAG the opportunity to open multiple chapters across the world. The organization says its focus at present is on growing membership, continuing [its] battle against occupational discrimination and creating collective bargaining agreements with adult businesses and platforms.
