속도 위반 및 보행자 보호 위반이 대상

스쿨존에서 속도위반을 하거나 횡단보도에서 보행자 보호 의무를 위반할 경우 자동차보험료가 최대 10% 할증된다.
국토교통부와 금융감독원, 보험개발원은 27일 보험자 최우선의 교통안전체계 구축 일환으로 어린이·노인·장애인 보호구역과 횡단보도 등에서 교통법규를 위반한 운전자에 대해 자동차보험료를 할증 적용한다고 밝혔다. 할증되는 보험료는 교통법규 준수자의 보험료 할인에 사용된다.
현행 법상 운전자는 어린이·노인·장애인 보호구역에서 시속 30㎞ 이하(지자체별로 상이)로 주행해야 하며, 횡단보도에서 보행자가 건너고 있을 때에는 반드시 일시정지를 해야 한다.
개정되는 자동차보험료 할증체계에서는 어린이·노인·장애인 보호구역에서 시속 20㎞를 초과하는 과속�
