The bill proposes to enshrine in the legislation the concept of veteran of the diplomatic service of the Republic of Kazakhstan . This category will include persons who have reached retirement age and have a total work experience of at least 25 years, including 15 in the diplomatic service of Kazakhstan. It is proposed to establish the payment to the veterans of 20% of the salary of the deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, about 170 thousand tenge. The amendments also propose to include scientific institutions in the system of the diplomatic service bodies.
