The final episode of "Bad and Crazy" opens with some fairly dynamic zaniness. Inspector Ryoo tries, and mostly fails, to brute force his way out of the mental institution. But eventually he sheds this buffoonish plan for a more devious one involving drugs and blackmail. Five months later, he s finally executed this plan, even anticipating that the surprisingly murderous Doctor Hong (played by Kim Sun-hwa-I) would just try to have him assassinated, Bad and Crazy, Cha Hak-yeon, Han Ji-eun, Kang Ae-shim, Kim Dae-gon, Kim Sae-bom, Kim Sun-hwa-I, Lee Dong-wook, Wi Ha-joon, Yoo Seon-dong
So Doctor Sin has been unveiled as the ultimate villain of "Bad and Crazy" who was once Yoon-ho, Inspector Ryoo s childhood friend with which the troubled kid made a murderous deal. "Bad and Crazy" kind of but doesn t really leave the door open to the theory I proposed in my last review, that Yoon-ho is actually yet another split personality of Inspector Ryoo. We know this has to be wrong, because Doctor Sin s devious plan involves making this as a false claim, Bad and Crazy, Cha Hak-yeon, Han Ji-eun, Kang Ae-shim, Kim Dae-gon, Kim Sae-bom, Lee Dong-wook, Wi Ha-joon, Yoo Seon-dong
This episode I started entertaining a theory about the explanation of the mystery behind Inspector Ryoo s distorted memories. For a split second, the opening title of "Bad and Crazy" appears to read as Bad, Evil, Crazy. So I thought, what if K isn t the only split personality? What if this mysterious shadowy figure Inspector Ryoo is trailing is actually Inpsector Ryoo himself? What if he s taking advantage of Inspector Ryoo s identity and connections to destroy for the sake of destroying?, Bad and Crazy, Cha Hak-yeon, Han Ji-eun, Kang Ae-shim, Kim Dae-gon, Kim Sae-bom, Lee Dong-wook, Wi Ha-joon, Yoo Seon-dong
Last time, Inspector Ryoo learned that he has some sort of connection to the mysterious online personality that may have masterminded Yeong-joo s murder of her father and then her subsequent suicide. Inspector Ryoo also unlocked a memory suggesting he might have murdered his own father. But "Bad and Crazy" takes an intriguing approach to these shocking events by asking an important question- how does Inspector Ryoo know these memories are real?, Bad and Crazy, Cha Hak-yeon, Han Ji-eun, Kang Ae-shim, Kim Dae-gon, Kim Sae-bom, Lee Dong-wook, Wi Ha-joon, Yoo Seon-dong
In a semi-episodic twist, this episode details the mysterious story of Yeong-joo (played by Park Seo-yeon), a high school student who appears to have murdered her abusive father. Inspector Ryoo and his crew of fellow detectives are investigating the case as if it s a one-off event. As they see it, Yeong-joo is only relevant to the extent that she s a possible source for their trying to locate the powerful drug that s been driving the narcotics trade of the previous storyline, Bad and Crazy, Cha Hak-yeon, Han Ji-eun, Jung Sung-il-I, Kang Ae-shim, Kim Dae-gon, Kim Sae-bom, Lee Dong-wook, Park Seo-yeon, Wi Ha-joon, Yoo Seon-dong
