Local Girl Scouts unveil murals painted at Inner Harbor Park in Ocean Springs

OCEAN SPRINGS, Mississippi A local Girl Scout troop not only moved its meetings to an Ocean Springs park, but decided to add some beautification, as well.
Liz Elmore, adult leader of Ocean Springs Troop 4513, initially contacted the Jackson County Recreation Department about holding troop meetings at Inner Harbor Park in Ocean Springs to help the troop more easily follow COVID-19 social distancing guidelines.
Once the troop began meeting there, the girls in the troop wanted to do something to make their new home more aesthetically appealing, and so the idea of painting murals on the exterior walls of the public restroom building there.
