Work by the five artists shortlisted for the 2023 Sobey Art Award is on view at an exhibition the National Gallery of Canada from October 13, 2023 until March 3, 2024. Each finalist represents a different home region, and the winner of the $100,000 prize will be announced in November.
Rideau Hall is proud to host a series of Indigenous artworks. The grouping of these artworks is centred on storytelling, with each artist using their unique perspective to illustrate life, traditions, mythology, Inuit legends or wildlife.
