An Indiana Senate bill that would impact the status of tenure at public higher education institutions in the state has passed the Indiana House of Representatives and is expected to head to the desk of Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb.
An amendment to an education omnibus bill aimed at keeping “obscene” and “harmful” materials out of school and public libraries drew vociferous opposition from library employees during the bill’s Wednesday hearing before the Indiana House of Representatives’ Committee on Education.
