OPPO is said to launch a new Reno9 series of premium mid-range Android smartphones soon. One of its members had allegedly been snapped with a raised, OnePlus 10 Pro-like rear camera hump. However, according to a new leak, the OEM has in fact gone with a less obvious take on this design. It also hints that only the top-end Pro Plus variant will get triple rear cameras.
OPPO has launched the K10 series today (April 24, 2022). The 2 smartphones involved have introduced an unusual list of world-firsts, including the debut of the Dimensity 8000-MAX in the vanilla model. The new Android 12 devices start for less than US$310.
OPPO has now confirmed a launch for the K10 5G series in China, the vanilla model of which will become the world s first smartphone with the "MAX" version of the Dimensity 8000 processor, whereas its Pro counterpart will emerge with a high-end Snapdragon SoC. The new devices are also now slated to have 120Hz displays, fast charging and even a Razer tie-in.
OnePlus has stated that the upcoming OnePlus 10R will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 8000 chipset. Rumour has it that it will share most of its innards with the Realme GT Neo 3, including two different battery specs. OnePlus is expected to launch the smartphone on April 28.
OPPO has already asserted that its K10 would be the first phone to launch with a MediaTek Dimensity 8000-series processor. Now, this mid-ranger s looks may have been revealed in a new leak. It points to an updated take on the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra-esque look debuted in its K9 predecessors, as well as the presence of a 3.5mm jack and triple rear cameras.
