So i think things have really changed in the past 50 years. My main question is how can you say you cant make it today based on something that happened to your family 150 years ago . Id like to hear an answer to that. So i mean for starters, this idea of 150 years ago, its true slavery ended 150 years ago. But the discrimination thats baked into our system continues even today.
