fort bragg live. onto other news and three people are dead tonight after a particularly violent car crash that happened near the nimitz freeway in oakland. kiro-7 s eric savidge is live in san leandro to explain why police were chasing this car when this accident happened. well, investigators say that the people in that car stole falcon this food max store, but when an officer tried to stop the car in apartment, the driver took off and head towards the freeway that is just a block or so away from here. headed north on 880 towards oakland. police were in pursuit and minutes later there was a deadly crash. the violent crash currentled this 1990 buick sedan, the car slammed into a concrete divider and burst into flames. three people inside were killed on impact, one woman survived. we found some of the parties ejected or partially ejected, which tells us as collision investigators that they were improperly restrained inside the car. reporter: this early morning acc ....
