A yet-to-be-ascertained number of students of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) have been arrested by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in a midnight raid of hostels outside the campus in the early hours of Wednesday, multiple sources have told SaharaReporters. SaharaReporters learnt that the operatives stormed students’ lodges around Orita Obele, Road block at about 2am, broke into rooms, and arrested the students.
