The Indian government is planning a new law on artificial intelligence (AI) to protect the rights of news publishers and content creators, according to Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw. The law aims to balance the interests of publishers, creators and AI technologies, while fostering innovation.
