Pawnee Mental Health raises $24K on Grow Green Match Day toward generator purchase for Crisis Stabilization Center Pawnee Mental Health’s Crisis Stabilization Center in Manhattan (KMAN file photo) Pawnee Mental Health raised over $24,000 Thursday as part of Grow Green Match Day. The 24 hour online fundraiser supported by the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation provided 70 Manhattan area organizations an opportunity to collect donations, which are pushed even higher thanks to a 50 percent match on some donations from the Howe Family Foundation. Pawnee Mental Health Executive Director Robbin Cole says no matter the size of the donation, each makes a difference in lives around the community.

Grow Green Match Day raises over $979K for Manhattan nonprofits Nearly $1 million was raised Thursday during the ninth annual Grow Green Match Day. The annual 24 hour fundraiser for the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation saw an unprecedented $979,000 donated during the 24 hour online giving period. The total surpassed last year’s donations by more than $210,000. Nearly 4,500 individual donor gifts were pledged during online giving, which also was a slight increase from last year. The total will be pushed further thanks to a 50 percent match on donations up to $10,000 per agency, thanks to the Howe Family Foundation. Shepherd’s Crossing raised the most at just over $70,000. Good Shepherd Homecare and Hospice raised over $50,000. Flint Hills Breadbasket raised over $47,000.
