winter haven. we want to go straight to eagle 8 reporter, paul, he has the latest. let me get right to it. here s the plane. it s a cessna. and the pilot is okay. i want to point that out first. a couple things you can see from this. it s out in a field. you can see the front part of the wing has damage to it. we re not sure why. and the front wheels are down. and the plane did grind through the ground and the pilot was able to get out wide. take a look at this. here s the track of the plane. at some point, the plane had some kind of trouble, made it down on to the field. you can see the path that the wheels took and eventually hit the ground here spinning to the side. the pilot is okay, that s the good news, and now they re going to try to figure out what exactly happened to this plane to have him land in this field or crash in the feel. however you d want to call it. but right now we know the pilot is okay. and we will have more available, in eagle 8 hd, news channel 8.
