RAYMOND The chronic lack of workforce housing along New Hampshire’s Seacoast affects the region’s businesses and municipalities, as well as working families and people with low and moderate incomes.
Yet one option that could help ease the housing squeeze, homeownership in resident-owned manufactured-home communities (ROCs), remains hidden in plain sight.
A free, online discussion, Manufactured Housing: A Solution to the Affordable Housing Crisis on the Seacoast, will be held Wednesday, Jan. 27 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Register for the webinar at www.seacoastwhc.org/happenings. The event will be recorded and posted online.
The webinar will feature speakers from the N.H. Community Loan Fund and New Hampshire Housing, as well as an opportunity for questions from attendees. It will be moderated by Sarah Wrightsman, Executive Director of the Workforce Housing Coalition of the Greater Seacoast.
