Robert W. Erdon – Cumberland
Robert W. Erdon, 83, of Cumberland, R.I., son of the late Loretta and Clifford Erdon, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2021 at The Holiday, Retirement Home in Manville, R.I.
Bob was born in Central Falls, R.I. He was a graduate of Providence College and taught high school mathematics for 29 years at Cumberland High School. Bob was very active in the Roman Catholic community, even as a young boy serving as the head alter boy.
He was part of the Army Reserves for 22 years and he was a lieutenant colonel. His unit found the missiles in Cuba in the 1960s. Bob met Presidents’ Kennedy and Johnson. While on active duty for two years, he served as a photo interpreter. ....
