Assistance to tenant at risk of eviction as well as their landlords in terms of making sure that those back payments are made, we ve got to get that out the door. only a few billion dollars of that aid has actually made it out. and so we re working with the biden administration, the treasury department to ease some of the restrictive language that may have been an obstacle, but we have to urge state after state after state to continue to do what s necessary. here in new york city, we re thankful that governor hokele and the state legislature came together to extend the moratorium through the early part of next year. that should provide sufficient time to get the relief out. but in other states, like texas or florida, you ve got people at risk of eviction, and that s why i think getting this money out the door is going to be so critical. it s very critical. it s great roy s happening here in new york, but that does not mean anything in other states.

Popular place, the capital of new york. so hokele is also trying to tie her to albany it is sort of washington versus albany. ej, one last quick thing here. the tea party guy, davis is a really interesting character. i wonder if there are lessons to be learned there republicans trying to discredit him anyway possible but keeps hold young to the voters by being populist, he is against free trade, keep jobs here and he is rich, right? he says the company that he runs, he is going to actually give to his 75 employees. is he on to something that can grow as a phenomenon later? well, i think that economic nationalism has a lot of power, particularly in the midwest where manufacturing has been hammered. and i think early on in the race, republicans were hoping that davis with that populist message would take more out of
