Updated: 5:11 PM EST Mar 11, 2021 Authorities in Carroll County are investigating an apparent attempted murder-suicide in Westminster.Westminster police said officers were called around 5:06 a.m. Thursday for a welfare check at a house in the 200 block of Hobbits Lane.Police said officers found William Skillin, 46, dead in a vehicle parked in the garage. Police said Skillin appeared to have suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound.Police said officers also found Skillin s wife, Mary Skillin, 39, in another vehicle parked in the garage, She was suffering from a gunshot wound and was taken to Shock Trauma, where she was listed in critical condition.Police said officers found a child inside the house unharmed.Anyone with additional information is asked to call Lt.
