Nuts and bolts of HCMC s lockdown - two months or more?

The stringent social distancing period in HCMC needs not last for months if it is implemented properly, experts say, but others point out worrisome vagaries and uncertainties.
HCMC imposed strict social distancing order requiring people not to leave home except for buying food or seeking medical care on July 9 and has announced plans to extend it by one or two more weeks from the end of this month.
Starting Monday, the city has also banned people from going out between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. the next day.

A footbridge is scheduled to be put into operation in the capital city of Hanoi next month following over a year of construction.
The three-way pedestrian bridge connects the sidewalk of Hoang Minh Giam Street along Thanh Xuan Park with two separate street corners on either side of Nguyen Thi Thap Street in Thanh Xuan District.
Construction of the 49-meter-long link with three four-meter walkways commenced in May 2020.
The Y-shaped bridge employs a steel box girder upper structure supported by three main steel-and-concrete pillars, according to a representative of Thanh Xuan District’s Management Board for Construction Investment Project.
