(CNS) Ahead of a May 30 ecumenical prayer service to recall the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921, Bishop David A. Konderla said it was important “to pause and reflect on how such an unspeakable horror could take place so that we can avoid any such evil in our own day.” “It is hard to believe that 100 years ago people could think and act in such a way. It is unthinkable. Still, it happened,” he said.

'Minari' and Kevin Durant win Oscars and more A&E news

Oh, Mr. Brad Pitt, finally. Nice to meet you. Where were you while we were filming in Tulsa? Youn breathlessly started her acceptance speech.  Her relatable reaction I mean, what woman wouldn t get a little woozy meeting Pitt for the first time? led off a hilarious speech. But Youn didn t stop charming people once she exited stage right: She continued into the press room by posing photos with Pitt and then gamely fielding some questions about her experience, including one journalist who wanted to know what the movie star smelled like.  I didn t smell him. I m not (a) dog, Youn said with a laugh.
