As we inch closer and closer to the new school year, more and more organizations are stepping forward to help students who otherwise, may not have school supplies. Both Rutherford County and Murfreesboro City Schools will open for a half day on Monday, August 7, 2023. The first full day of class will be on Tuesday, August 8th (Scroll down for more information on the school calendar).

H3 Church (His Holy Hill Church) will hold a Back-to-School Backpack and School Supplies Giveaway on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM for the Murfreesboro Community.
A similar event was held in 2019 and brought community members together. H3 Church reports they are excited to be able to hold this event for a second time, and it will feature music, popsicle's, and face painting, in addition to free school supplies.
