Tommy Lee 'Suds' Barrett

Wednesday, May 5, 2021 11:33 am On the morning of Sunday, May 2, 2021, Tommy Lee “Suds” Barrett passed away peacefully at his home, comforted by the love of his family. Born the youngest child of Anna B. Hague Barrett and Walter Alexander Barrett on Oct. 21, 1939, in Cleveland, he graduated from Bradley Central High School in 1958 where he was a member of the basketball team earning district, region, Tri-state and all-state honors and was a member of the baseball team. After graduation, Suds served the National Guard and worked in photo composing at the Chattanooga Times, he also worked to expand recreational opportunities in his community, helping Russ Melvin organize the Cleveland Midget Football League and started a local baseball league.

Faye Liner Collins

Faye Liner Collins, 90, of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. She spent most of her adult life as owner of Collins Oil Company with her late husband, Pete Collins. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents, Jess and May Goodner Liner; and siblings: Max Liner, Pat Jones and Ruth Varnell. Survivors include her sons: Brian Collins and wife, Kellye, and Jay Collins and wife, Lynn; grandchildren: Brad Collins, Pierce Collins, Pete Collins and Madison Collins; sister, Sue Liner Chambers and husband, Elmer; brother-in-law, Winston Varnell; and nephew, Craig Liner. Her family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held immediately following the visitation at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Skip White officiating. Pierce Collins, Pete Collins, Craig Liner, Tim Stinnett, Mark Burger and John Collins will serve as pallbearers. A dove release c
