Although the council approved the Ridgeview on Foster development's zoning changes in 2020, a clerical error forced project leaders to get the 21-acre piece of land rezoned once again.
“The original X-ray unit is 20 years old, so students were finding that the technology was totally different [in] the clinical setting," said Radiologic Technology Program Director Lisa Herrmann.
"We have great schools [and] a great community. We just need more affordable places to live," said Avera's Hilary Rockwell. "Otherwise we're just taking other businesses’ [workforces]."
