Vanilla Wafer, who is an active member of the Montana Community Center, an LGBTQ+ organization in Missoula, came to perform to the festival after she met other members of the UM Circus Club. “I love spreading my art,” she said. “This is hard work, and I’m loving every minute of it.” She last performed in drag in February 2020.
