A strong storm will deliver rain and thunderstorms with lowering snow levels through Wednesday into Thursday. Travel Thursday morning could be very difficult especially in the higher terrain.
Wintry weather is expected for most of southwest Montana today and tomorrow as a major spring storm blasts through the state. Winter weather alerts are in place for much of the higher terrain.
Winter Storm Watches have been issued for most of the mountain ranges of southwest Montana ahead of a low pressure system bringing colder air and lots of moisture.
