Its been a fascinating experience seeing different cabinet agencies and how the different organizations work. Wake up call would come in the form of 500 dollar fine to those who do not heed the call to save water 0so here are new restriction. No hosing off sidewalk driveway or patio. No watering lawn or garden to the point of run off. And no washing your car unless you have a hose with a shut off nozzle. New rule could go into effect as soon as august 1st. Now even your water agency could be fined 10,000 dollars day if it doesnt get you to conserve water. The worst water wasters in Southern California coastal communities where water use was up nearly 8 and a half percent. Sacramento and the north coast had the bi biggest decline where users cut back 13 percent on average.
