Table on meaningful common sense reforms that the american people support. priscilla thompson is in houston and rehema ellis is following the philadelphia story here in studio. what more can you tell us about the two shootings in texas? unrelated? so those two shootings richard appear to be unrelated. one of them happened just before midnight at a community block party that was happening to celebrate the fourth of july. and that is the shooting where there were three people killed and eight injured including a minor believed to be among the victims. what police described was really a chaotic scene. they were called out to this neighborhood on the west side of fort worth and when they got there, there were cars everywhere. foot traffic everywhere. they had difficulty even getting some of those balances in. they were able to find a number of those victims in a parking lot and get those folks treated
Has been arrested and that is being investigated by a gang unit but as for the other shooting where three people were killed, law enforcement are asking anyone with information about what happened, who was there, may have video of what led up to the shooting or what happened as the shooting was happening to come forward because they are still looking for a suspect or potentially suspects. of course, any additional answers about why this happened. richard? thank you so much for that. now move to philadelphia and what we re learning today at this hour. suspects, do we know what the motive is and different from the cases that we re hearing from priscilla, this was a moving target if you will. seems that way, richard. one of the things we re trying to find out from police is a motive. we don t know if the victims were targeted or if this was a tragic, random act of violence. authorities are saying they have in custody a 40-year-old male and they were able to take that
