Subscribe Now 3 days ago | DailyTrib.com Free children’s art classes are 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. June 14-18 at the Highland Arts Gallery, 318 Main St. in Marble Falls. The Highland Arts Guild is sponsoring the program. Professional artists will teach students about a variety of art. Classes will follow COVID-19 safety protocols. Space is limited. Subscribe Now Several of the Highland Arts Guild’s establishing members got together to reminisce about the past 50 years. Staff photos by Suzanne Freeman They just wanted to paint, so they got together and painted and held meetings and art shows and game days and demonstrations and art lessons, continually growing until, 50 years later, the nonprofit Highland Arts Guild owns its own building, runs its own gallery, and is the next best thing to an art museum in the community.
