Organizers of the Front International: Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art, on February 9 announced the cancellation of the event’s 2025 iteration and the permanent closure of the triennial.
FRONT International has canceled its 2025 Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art and plans to wind down operations permanently, according to a statement posted to its website Feb. 9.
Tri-C will ask Cuyahoga County voters this fall to approve a 2.1-mill renewal levy and a 0.4-mill increase. If approved, the levy would add about $14 annually, for each $100,000 in property value, to the tax bills of county property owners.
