A total of 163 students and staff at 34 K-12 school districts were infected by known coronavirus outbreaks last week, according to data released Monday, May 24. The latest school outbreaks report, published weekly by the Department of Health and Human Services, was an improvement from the prior week when 53 outbreaks resulted in 205 students and staff members being infected. The data includes preschools and daycares in those buildings.
