The set, titled The Head Up Project , was recorded during a live 2001 performance in Deftones hometown of Sacramento, California. The Head Up Project is being released by Buckle Up Chi, a seat belt advocacy group formed in honor of the musician following his death. Late Deftones Member Chi Cheng's New Spoken Word Album Comes 2021

The Head Up Project s cover art and tracklisting down toward the bottom of this post. According to Buckle Up for Chi, the new album was recorded in January 2001 during a performance in Sacramento, Calif. Its 24 tracks were remastered by Qumran Records, a partner on the project. The Head Up Project is also part of a broader effort of the same name by the memorial organization. Buckle Up For Chi has always been blessed to keep Chi s legacy alive and we strive to continue to do so with the launch of the Head Up Project, the organization says in a statement.
