Lindsey Kouroyen and
Sarah Lake, education majors at Lasell University, were among the Peabody students recently honored for academic or athletic achievement at schools across the country.
Kouroyen was awarded professional badges from the Harvard Agile Teacher Lab for their success in using equitable academic discussions in virtual classrooms.
Kouroyen earned the Learn Equity Badge and the Share Equity Bad. Lake earned the Learn Equity Badge.

Participation in the program was part of an effort to provide Lasell Universty students who are studying education with the opportunity to continue practicum-style teaching practice via coached, simulated environments during the pandemic.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute names dean’s list
WORCESTER, Mass. The criteria for the Worcester Polytechnic Institute dean’s list differs from most other universities, as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the dean’s list by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
Area students attaining the list are as follows:
Evan Davis of New Gloucester, Class of 2022, majoring in computer science.
Joshua Fernandez of Naples, Class of 2023, majoring in robotics engineering.
Serena Mower of Auburn, Class of 2024, majoring in computer science.
Cole Ouellette of Mechanic Falls, Class of 2024, majoring in computer science.
Concord education achievements
Arlington Catholic School
Concord resident Lydia Robert was recently named to the second quarter honor roll at Arlington Catholic High School. Lydia is a sophomore who received grades of B or better in all classes during the second quarter.
Cambridge School of Weston
Katie Baum, of Concord, received a Scholastic Art Award. Baum earned the Silver Key in painting for “I Remember.”
James Madison University
Margaret Grace and Madison Seiss, of Concord, were named to the fall 2020 dean’s list at James Madison University.
Lasell University
Dana Tilton, a Lasell University student from Concord, received professional badges from the Harvard Agile Teacher Lab for their success in using equitable academic discussions in virtual classrooms.
