Yesterday, told my colleague that they re not going to support roy moore and thinks it should go to a senate ethics investigation. the constitution is very clear. it says that congress, each house, by two-thirds vote, can expel a member. it s open-ended. there isn t really precedent for expelling some one for conduct that took place prior to taking one s seat. but they ve never said they couldn t do that. for very heinous accusations, i imagine, i believe that they should look into that. whether it s something like tree ton, murder, rape, child molestation, something like. that the senate ethics committee, house ethics committee should look at. that i believe it is grounds even if ee prior to taking one s seat to expel some one. harris: in the con stalation, you have al franken doing that and resigning at this point for things that he did before he was a senator. we had members on outnumbered say they ll see if he really leaves. he didn t give a date certain. john mccar mick, senio
Senate to take action and move america forward. harris: the idea with illegal immigration, and the border wall, and specifically daca and the dreamers. the democrats saying they won t do a deal unless daca protection for dreamers is part of it. i ve heard congresswoman diane black said on it the program and others like yourself, saying you can t rush something like that through. so what do you do to slow it down some does it really have to be here to keep the government from shutting down? i mean you have two weeks, but it s going come up again. sure, the democrats are going to continue to bring that you. but, look, let s be clear daca and immigration, we have got to fix that problem, not only daca but border security, having an imgrapgs system that works for our economy, that protects our american citizens. and i believe that we can get there. i do not believe that needs to be tied tofully spending deal and i don t think it s appropriate that the democrats are willing to shut the
