of them. and the way they approach him is very interesting. if you look at the first page of the letter, it says that they believe that hannity quote, had advanced knowledge regarding president trump s and his legal team s planning for january 6th. then it degoes on to say that i also appears that hannity was expressing concerns and providing advice. then they follow up, quote, you also had relevant communication when the riot was underway and in the days thereafter. these communications make you a fact witness. so i think it s critical that in the letter, they say they have the upmost respect for the first amendment. they re asking sean hannity to come voluntarily, but they re making it very clear that they have a lot of information,

him about jim comey. i guess with trump it s always so insane and it s wrapped in these conundrums and riddles and torqued by sean hannity s lunacy. and there is an open question about what the barr justice department will become. i think it s a serious question. you re right, there are miles of water between the accusations, the chants of lock them up that trump and his supporters launched at democrats, and the president who was subject of an investigation, that couldn t quite clear him, might be at risk of going to jail. those might be two different things. i think the hannity quote tells us something that perhaps he didn t mean to tell us, that s that these challenges and the criticisms of this president as taking us into banana republic territory and really tarnishing the justice department and opening up its processes to
