There has been a lot of handwringing among democrats about the direction of their party and a lot of republicans taking a victory lap. Republicans may pick up close to 10 seats in the house, but they will not flip it. They will likely lose one senate seat and are still at risk of losing the majority, and they lost the white house. On the other hand, democrats lost the expectations ....
