3 Arrests were made in Wayne County on Various Offenses on Tuesday At 10:58 AM, Wayne County Sheriff's Officials arrested 45-year-old Daniel Benjamin Brockett of Fairfield on a Hamilton County Warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Brockett is being held on $100 bond in the Wayne County Jail. At 12:18 PM, Wayne County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 37-year-old Nancy K. Kolkka of Fairfield on a Wayne County Warrant for deceptive practices – writing bad checks. She was being held on $500 bond in the Wayne County Jail. At 9:37 PM, Fairfield Police arrested 22-year-old Taylor Dean Charles of Dundas for burglary and retail theft. He is being held without bond at the Wayne County Jail.
An Enfield man is being held in the White County Jail after he was served a warrant at the White County Sheriff's Department on Wednesday. 38 year old Jason Laymance was at the Sheriff's Office to update his sex offender registration information when he was taken into custody on a Hamilton County Warrant for Failure to Appear for Aggravated Fleeing. Officer George Spencer served the warrant and explained to Laymance that the bail listed on the warrant was $2,000 plus a $75 Failure to Appear fee as well as a $20 booking fee. Laymance is being held pending posting of the required bond.
