A Southampton secondary school has warned that a man seen in the area may be linked to previous suspicious incidents involving children being approached. In a letter sent out on Monday, headteacher of The Hamble School, Alaric Govan advised parents to warn their children not to speak to strangers and report any incidents to school staff. The letter read: I refer to my letters to you dated 17 and 19 November concerning reports of a man approaching both our students and those at local schools. We have today been advised that an older man was seen sitting in a car by The Hamble School this morning and the description matches that of the man involved in the incidents in November.
