The Brunei Malay Teachers Association (PGGMB) yesterday continued its five-year savings project to instil a savings culture from an early age for 165 students from Tunas Jaya PGGMB School in Kuala Belait.
PGGMB Deputy Chairman Haji Badar bin Haji Awang Ali was the guest of honour. Secretary General Haji Awang Abdul Alim bin Haji Awang Othman was also present.
The project themed ‘Savings for the Future’ aimed to produce children who have a bright future and are financially independent, and promote financial management awareness among the students.
The students were provided coin banks which will be opened on November 11 to reveal their total savings.
