Twenty-six youth, who enrolled into the GAIA Youth Series Model, began their six-month mentoring programme following its launch at Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex in the capital yesterday.
The programme has three phases and the first being Camp Wira Challenge pushing the youth’s mental, physical and emotional limits. The second phase involved a Youth Leadership Summit equipping them with skills and tools. The third phase is the mentorship programme to equip the youth with skills to build resilience and self-determination.
The first two phases were conducted in partnership with Projek Bina Ukhwah and the Society for Community Outreach and Training (SCOT). ....
