The Greenlee County livestock judging team won first place at the Arizona state fair and is now collecting community support as they journey to the national competition in Kentucky.
Since 2018, the Carson City 4-H PJ Drive for Kids in Foster Care has been collecting and donating pajamas to the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Kids’ Closet. We started the Drive to give our little ones a chance to give back to their community in a way that is meaningful them, through giving a cozy pair of pajamas to another child.
Nevada’s Linda Zimmerman, 4-H volunteer for University of Nevada, Reno Extension for more than 34 years and a University alumna, is one of only four 4-H volunteers nationally to have recently been named a 4-H Outstanding Lifetime Volunteer.
