popular going into the election. the bench on the democratic side is pretty wake. i don t think it s weak at all. you have mitch landrieu, mayor of louisiana, john hickenlooper. you have john hickenlooper. this list is unbelievable. this is the most amazing list. i mean cory booker. oh, yeah, he looks good. but the other two, i say really? maybe it s possible, but nobody else is thinking these things. donald trump, president of the united states. you have to admit, there s no great stand-out star on the democratic side, right? we have to have the campaign. not that far away. who s the best bet in your mind? i don t know. hickenlooper or landrieu? i like both of them. but look, cory booker is the guy i think could be president. who should run? oprah maybe. she s not doing it. i think we would like to see elizabeth warren run. biden gets the regular guy vote. biden would be a strong candidate, but i don t know if the democratic base would go with h
did that guy vote in 2012? if he didn t, if he s waiting online for eight hours in the freezing rain to see mr. trump, my guess is he s going to show up on november 8th to vote for him. that was working class voters who support change, who support donald trump, i think about his plans for trade. the tariffs he wants to put up, what i don t understand is what america really wants. you re an investor. when you look at a company like amazon, one of the reasons that amazon is one of the most powerful companies in the world is because we want to buy cheap stuff. if donald trump were to change trade laws, we couldn t buy the cheap stuff or in our wall marts, they would cost a whole lot more. how does that work? that actually is not his message. his message is that he wants to even up the trading system, since 1946 to today, the state department and treasury and they did it for good intentions, the uneven the system of trade. they embargoed our goods shipped to the emerging markets and al
latinos. look at the map of your own states. understand the demographics. look at the sort of federal sort of trade-off with the red states in this country and you ll understand that you ve got to speak to your own constituents to try to say it s black and latino folk who are the beneficiaries of federal spend something not only inaccurate but it s a miscal clition in terms of understanding the quaeti constituency of the republican party. lindsey graham said the republicans aren t generating enough angry white guys to stay in power. it will describe them as fr freeloade freeloaders. that s not going to work. i think it s fair to say the republicans have sort of cornered the market on the angry white guy vote. there s not a whole lot more upside they can have there. and that s the issue here is if you look at where demographics are going, it s latinos are
